Brombeere und Johannisbeere dominieren den Duft und die dunkle Farbe des Rotweins. Ausgeprägte Tannine, die um den Gaumen tanzen, kreieren einen schönen Kontrast zur Beerenfrucht. Die Malbec-Komponente verleiht dem Wein Energie und einen hellen Twist und führt zu einer köstlich zugänglichen Cabernet-Mischung mit Reifepotenzial (lagerfähig bis mindestens 2035).

Sarah Crowe, and Yarra Yering specifically, is the safest bet you'll make all year. These wines are sublime (silly word, but it's the only one that properly encapsulates the style): alive, bright, shapely, long, elegant, of place, and most importantly, delicious. All of that applies to this 2017 Agincourt Cabernet Malbec. It's a beautiful, floral, vital wine. The tannins flow through the spicy red fruit, stopping for no breath. The acidity is saline and refreshing, highlighting the precision of fruit flavor in the mouth. I haven't even mentioned the aromatics, but they are the first foray into the palate and align with everything that the flavors show in the mouth. It cannot be overstated. This wine has fresh energy and will be long lived.

A rich and layered blend of 75% cabernet sauvignon and 25% malbec, this red shows a lovely softness and balance with rich, plummy aromas and flavors, as well as currants and spices. Cedar, too. Full body. Round tannins.

Vinifikation
Die Trauben für diese Cuvée wurden sorgfältig von Hand geerntet, zerkleinert und entrappt. Zweimal täglich werden die gärenden Trauben händisch gestoßen, um die bestmögliche Tanninstruktur hervorzurufen. Korbpressung und malolaktische Gärung in französischen Fässern für 12 Monate.
